Training Aids
Simulated training is an excellent way for clinicians to learn, practice and refine their technique. These training aids are designed to simulate abscess treatment, so the clinician has more confidence when treating patients. The abscess model is an accurate imitation, and when combined with instruments and Quickloop samples, provides a realistic training experience.
Abscess Model

Our abscess model can be used for realistic simulations of the Quickloop technique or standard incision & drainage.
- Layered construction using different types of silicone simulates the skin and fat layers
- A single abscess cavity is in the center of the model, and is filled with hand lotion
- Double sided – can practice on both sides
- Once cut, the abscess model can be sutered
- Abscess can be refilled
- 2.5” x 3” x 1”
The abscess model can be refilled with hand lotion by inserting a needle in the side
